What drew you to WashU?   

 I am interested in a career in academic medicine, specializing in pulmonary critical care. I thought the opportunities for learning how to teach like WUTPP and the opportunities for research in my areas of interest were outstanding. The pulmonary critical care program at WUSTL is also very strong.                                                     

What is your favorite part about living in St. Louis?

I like Castlewood State Park. It’s a fantastic place to go hike with my two dogs. Forrest Park is also very nice with free attractions like the Zoo and Art Museum. St. Louis has a reasonable cost of living while still drawing from a large enough patient population in a city to have incredibly interesting cases.
