Our DEI mission is three-fold:
- To recognize and elevate how diversity enriches the educational experience.
- To address the ever-growing need for equitable-care delivery and train all physicians on how to identify and deliver equitable care in medicine.
- To cultivate an inclusive climate where trainees are encouraged to bring their diverse perspectives and backgrounds to the training culture and the diverse community we serve.
Established to recruit, retain, support, and provide career development resources to trainees who are underrepresented in medicine. This initiative will create a community for URM trainees spanning the WUSM campus.

Supports the School of Medicine’s commitment to creating an environment that is diverse, inclusive and nurturing of people from all backgrounds
University’s primary forum for changing climate and culture. Houses D&I resources for training, support for campus affinity groups, annual events and recognition ceremonies.
Supports and advocates for undergraduate, graduate and professional students from underrepresented and/or marginalized populations, creates collaborative partnerships with campus and community partners, and promotes dialogue and social change among all students.
