Our DEI mission is three-fold:

Director for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Internal Medicine Residency Program
- To recognize and elevate how diversity enriches the educational experience.
- To address the ever-growing need for equitable-care delivery and train all physicians on how to identify and deliver equitable care in medicine.
- To cultivate an inclusive climate where trainees are encouraged to bring their diverse perspectives and backgrounds to the training culture and the diverse community we serve.
Established to recruit, retain, support, and provide career development resources to trainees who are underrepresented in medicine. This initiative will create a community for URM trainees spanning the WUSM campus.
