What drew you to WashU?

Being a WashU physician has been my dream since I was in high school, so naturally I had some pretty high expectations. In person, WashU surpassed them all. It had the support and infrastructure to help me succeed both as a clinician and in my non clinical interests (like education). It had a fantastic schedule that is clinically orientated but keeps wellness in mind. Plus, I am obsessed with St. Louis. Most of all, though, the residents and faculty I met were so impressive but so approachable (this is still true to this day), and I knew that if I came here I’d be surrounded by people who’d help me grow.

What is your favorite part about living in St. Louis?

My favorite things about St. Louis is the art – it’s versatility and it’s variety. I think it’s so amazing to be able to one day be having brunch on a rooftop in the city, and the next day be hiking on a gorgeous trail.
