What drew you to WashU?

I worked at BJH as an RN before school and I loved the culture of the institution and felt like it would be a supportive, healthy environment where I could continue to grow and challenge myself. The people you work with – patients, faculty, and staff – are just incredible and it offers a great balance of academic rigor coupled with a very warm, inviting culture.

What is your favorite part about living in St. Louis?

I love being back in St. Louis after living in Denver and Portland for the last 8 years (which were also great). St. Louis is a really underrated place with incredible diversity, unique neighborhood communities and identities, progressive values, affordable cost of living, beautiful architecture, and great food and beer.
