What drew you to WashU?

I wanted to train at a big academic medical center that served a diverse patient population. Barnes-Jewish serves such a huge catchment area that allows us to see patients from all types of backgrounds: from big cities to rural towns from underserved to affluent populations. Plus, we are able to learn from the best experts in their field who also happen to be very down-to-earth. That was important to me when I was applying for residency.

What is your favorite part about living in St. Louis?

Everything Forest Park: runs, picnics, yoga, fields, museums. It has everything and more!
